Yong-Han Koo, DDS
Dr. Yong-Han Koo is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
Dr. Koo attended Washington University in Saint Louis where he received his B.A. in 1997. He then graduated from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery, earning his D.D.S. (Doctor of Dental Surgery) degree in 2001. His residency training in oral and maxillofacial surgery was completed at Yale-New Haven Hospital/the Hospital of Saint Raphael. He served as a chief resident at Yale-New Haven Hospital from 2006 to 2007. Upon graduation, he expanded his experience by becoming a faculty member at the Geisinger Medical Center, a Level I trauma center, in Pennsylvania, followed by an associateship in a group private practice in Lowell, MA.
He practices a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from corrective jaw surgery to wisdom teeth extractions. His special interests include 3D CBCT guided dental implantology and bone & soft tissue grafting procedures as well as cleft lip and/or palate, orthognathic and trauma surgeries. He also diagnoses and treats facial pain, facial injuries and TMJ disorders. Currently, he holds operating privileges at Newton-Wellesley Hospital, MA.
Dr. Koo has a strong dedication to serving the community. He was one of the leading surgeons for the former Lowell Devils AHL (currently Albany Devils), minor league hockey team for the New Jersey Devils NHL.
Neal Patel, DDS
Dr. Neal Patel is a Faculty member and Director of CBCT at the Scottsdale Center for Dentistry. He is a graduate of The Ohio State University where he earned degrees in both molecular genetics and dentistry. From 2006-2007, he served as the Implant Prosthodontic Fellow at the University and performed over 2000 implants in one year. Prior to opening his private practice in Powell, Neal served as a consultant educating surgeons in the field of 3D-imaging, computer generated guided implant surgery, and the art of stereolithography in dental applications. Dr. Patel is now known for establishing many of the techniques and protocols for digital implantology and prosthetics. In 2008, Dr. Patel trained in Como, Italy on aesthetic restorative and reconstructive dentistry. He is currently on an international lecture circuit speaking on advanced digitization in dentistry, CBCT and its applications, Implantology, and Stomatognathic Biometrics. His perspective on 3D cone beam technology is refreshing, as he shows the practical applications such technology currently provides and has to offer in the future. His listeners learn how to successfully integrate CBCT into private practice and streamline clinical treatment. He frequently lectures at continuing education meetings, and has published numerous clinical articles on advanced treatment techniques and procedures, including the Journal of the American Dental Associaton (J.A.D.A), Implant Practice, Dental Entrepreneur, Oral Health and more. Dr. Patel has been featured in Forbes, Newsweek, CNN, ABC, Wallstreet Journal, and other publications. He is a consultant for a number of dental manufacturers and works closely with the R & D sector for product development and enhancement.
Donald A. Tyndall, DDS, MSPH, PhD
Dr. Don Tyndall is Professor in the Department of Diagnostic Sciences at the UNC School of Dentistry. He received his D.D.S. in 1980, his M.S.P.H. in 1984 and his Ph.D. in 1988 from the UNC School of Public Health. He has won several awards for teaching excellence at UNC. Dr. Tyndall has been the Director of Radiology for the School of Dentistry from 1988 to the present and serves as the course director for two pre-doctoral radiology courses. He also served as Program Director of the Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology Graduate Program from 1993 to 2006. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology and was a Director and past President. From 2000-2006 he served as a representative on the Radiology Review Committee of the ADA. Dr. Tyndall has recently served as the Councillor for Scientific Affairs and Public Policy of the Executive Council of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology. His research interests include: 3-D digital imaging, implant radiology and applications of cone beam computed tomography in dentistry. In 2009 he became a Fellow of the International College of Dentists. His work has been published in more than 90 journal articles.
Euger Lin, DMD, FRCD(C)
Dr. Lin graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1999. He then completed a General Practice Residency at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital- Harvard Wide Program in 2000. Following this, Dr. Lin completed his specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Henry Ford Hospital and Medical Centers in 2004. Dr. Lin is Board Certified in both the United States and Canada. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, a Diplomate of the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology, and a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. Dr. Lin’s areas of expertise include dental implant treatment, wisdom teeth removal, office anesthesia, corrective jaw surgery and facial trauma reconstruction. He has a keen interest in the utilization of CT guided surgery and adjunctive dental implant therapies to address advanced clinical situations. Dr. Lin maintains a private practice in Marlborough, MA, and holds operating room privileges at the Boston Medical Center.

Soo-Woo Kim DMD, DMSc, MS
Dr. Soo-Woo Kim is currently serving as a Pre-doctoral program director in periodontolgoy at Harvard School of Dental Medicine. He graduated with bachelor of science in biochemistry from University of California, Riverside in 1999. He then pursued his master of science degree in bioengineering at University of California, Los Angeles. With an influence of his academic mentors, he received his dentistry and periodontology training at Harvard School of Dental Medicine received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree and his periodontology training from Harvard School of Dental Medicine. He finished his Doctor of Medical Science (DMSc) in oral biology. He was selected as a presidential scholar from Harvard University for the past four years and is a recipient of AAP Educator Award from the American Academy of Periodontology and Young Investigator Award from the International Association of Dental Research. With his backgrounds in biochemistry and engineering, Dr. Kim is actively engaged in research for the development of ideal hard and soft tissue grafting materials. He has multiple publications including peer reviewed journals and book chapters.
